Questions about Origin Community
Is this the same as the Origin Inner Circle?
No. The Inner Circle is Origin’s own community, and it is free to join. This page is the product: hosting for a community you run, under your brand. If you are looking to join the room rather than host one, the Inner Circle is what you want.
Do you take a cut of what my members pay me?
There is a platform fee on member payments, and it falls as the tier rises: 2 percent on Team, 1 percent on White Label, 0.5 percent on Enterprise. Stripe’s own processing fee is separate and goes to Stripe. The hosting subscription is flat and does not move with your revenue.
What happens past 100 members?
Every tier includes 100 members. Past that, hosting is banded by size rather than charged per head, so growth does not turn into a per-member bill. Tell us the size you expect and we will put the number in writing before you start.
Can members pay me in my own currency, on my own domain?
Member payments run through Stripe, so you charge through your own Stripe account. Your own domain comes with White Label, along with your brand across the app and the emails it sends.
What is the setup fee for?
Getting the room live: the spaces, access levels, payments, branding and your first content in place, so you launch to members instead of to an empty shell. It is $1,500 on Team and waived with any onboarding build, $2,500 on White Label, and $7,500 on Enterprise, which covers the app build and the store submissions.
Can I move a community I already run onto Origin?
