What is a Claude skill?
A skill is a small file of instructions that teaches Claude how to do one kind of work the same way every time. You upload it once in your Claude settings. After that, Claude picks it up on its own whenever you ask for that kind of work. There is no app to download and no code to run on your computer.
Do I need a paid Claude plan?
Yes. Uploading skills needs a Claude Pro plan or above (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise) with code execution turned on in your settings. If you are on Pro, you are set.
Is it safe to add to Claude?
Yes. The five skills are built by Origin, and each one is a single plain-text file of instructions with no scripts or code inside. You can open and read any of them before you upload it. They do not connect to your accounts. They only shape how Claude answers you, and Market Intel uses Claude's own web search to find its sources.
Is it really free?
Yes. The team is free for your own business use. Please do not resell or repackage it. It is the starter team and it runs on generic setups. When you want an AI team built on your systems, your voice, and your actual business, that is the work we do at Origin.
